KMC Participates in the Royal State Visit to Japan

KMC's recent participation in the state visit to Japan provided a significant opportunity to address global challenges in food production and security.

Our CEO, Jesper Burgaard, joined the state visit as part of a business delegation organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. This visit provided an excellent platform for KMC to present our innovative and sustainable food solutions to an international audience, highlighting our contributions to the food industry.

A key moment during the visit was the inauguration of the conference “Future Food Production – Food Security in a Sustainable Way” by His Majesty King Frederik. At this conference our CEO, Jesper Burgaard, along with Anders Lund from Novonesis, took part in an insightful panel debate on “Business Leadership: Innovating for Future Food Security – The Role of Technology and Biosolutions.” The discussion delved into how technology and biosolutions can drive innovation to ensure sufficient food supplies for a growing global population.

At KMC, our mission extends beyond ingredient production; we strive to be part of the solution to global food security challenges. Our cutting-edge biosolutions are instrumental in improving food quality and sustainability—key factors for the future of food production.

The growing significance of biosolutions in the global market is also worth noting. With an anticipated annual growth rate of 10%, the market is expected to reach nearly EUR 560 billion by 2026. This upward trend underscores the vital role that biosolutions play in the food industry, and we are proud to be leading this transformative movement.

Participating in the state visit and the prestigious conference enabled us to highlight our products and our dedication to sustainability and innovation on a global stage. We understand that achieving food security in the future depends on collaborative efforts across the industry, and we are committed to being a pivotal part of this endeavor.

We are honored to be a key participant in this initiative and will continue to contribute actively to crafting a sustainable future for food production.
